An original abstract artwork representing a gaze at the Mediterranean Sea through various layers of grilles, enclosures, and buildings. This piece is a synthesis and abstraction of my experiences looking at the sea during my childhood and adolescence in Almería.
The artwork is crafted in multiple layers using museum board (combining laser cutting with handcraft), so that as the viewer moves around the piece, the depth and volume of the planes come to life.
